But, if you find you ever need a new idea of what to do or where to go, we can help with that. Summer is a great time to get out and explore new cities and festivals all over our Great State.

So, we’ve compiled a short list to help get you started – don’t be afraid to get out and try something new. There will only be one Summer 2017,  jam pack it with memories!

  1.    National Cherry Festival. Traverse City, Michigan. July 1-8, 2017.

It’s back. A Michigan favorite. And just in time to kick off 4th of July celebrations. The National Cherry Festival is one of Traverse City’s finest. This cherry-centric festival is sure to not disappoint and is filled with exciting events like a parade, cherry pancake breakfast, air shows, cherry pit spitting contests, arts & crafts, film screenings, cherry pie eating contests, and so much more. Learn more about the schedule here.

  1.    Common Ground Music Festival. Lansing, Michigan. July 6-9, 2017.

What makes this music festival truly stand out is not just the fabulous artists that will be performing, but the proceeds from the concerts will go to aid the improvement of communities in the Central Michigan Area. Talk about a win-win festival. Tickets and info found here.

  1. Copper County Strawberry Festival. Chassel, MI. July 7-8, 2017

Not your typical strawberry festival. The Copper County Strawberry Festival goes all the way back to 1949. With 58 years under their belt, they have learned a thing or two about how to put on a good event - and they have truly mastered a divine strawberry shortcake. If you find yourself in the area, it’s worth stopping by. Strawberries have long played an important role in Chassel’s economy, and what better way to celebrate than by consuming copious amounts of them!

  1. American Polish Festival. Detroit, MI. July 7-9, 2017.

Do you have a love of polka music? No? Well, maybe you have an obsession with perogies (I know I do). Or maybe you just like to drink a good beer and people watch. No matter what, the American Polish Festival will be able to satisfy. Make sure you go hungry, and it’s a guarantee you’ll leave happy.

  1. Blissfest Music Festival. Blissfield, MI. July 13-15, 2017.

Blissful is always a great way to describe the warm sunshine of a Michigan summer. Take that feeling with you as you set out your picnic blanket (or pitch your tent) at the 3 day Blissfest - they call it a bliss overload. This family friendly event is filled with American roots music, sweet bliss for everyone!

  1. Motor City Fest. Detroit, MI. July 14-15, 2017.

  • Hi,
My wife and I have one of your Great lakes decals, and we love it. We just spent a wonderful week on Manitoulin Island and would like a decal similar to the Great Lakes one to go on the back window of our van. Any plans for expanding your selections?
